I am running in these trainers as always run on trail.. but my feet are so wet from the morning dew almost immediately.. I love them as so light and grippy but really starting to resent wet feet!!

Anyone any advice? I do have another new pair to try out, maybe have just worn these ones out

Had a lovely run otherwise in the cool air, happy friday everyone

🤷‍♀️ that's wet grass for you! The best shoes wet through fast but they also drain fast so you shouldn't feel "squidgy" for long. Good socks also drain well and although you'll be damp it's better than sweaty feet in waterproof, gortex shoes.

You could try waterproof socks. I like Dexshell ultra thin although tend to only use them in winter.

Synthetic mix (no cotton) socks for feeling comfortable when your feet are wet. The sensation of coldness doesn't last that long, unless you're in the habit of jumping in puddles.

I do like jumping in puddles, no denying it 😁 have ordered new socks, might have to finally start running on roads 😁

I doubt you'll find any trainers that reliably keep your feet dry because water will always soak down from your ankles if the grass is long.

I really like merino wool sports socks because they don't feel too bad when they get wet.

Thank you, hadn't thought of those socks will look into them, thanks 😊 might have to start running on roads until the grass dies back down 😅
