Went for a run at 3pm it started raining as soon as I left , that horrible fine rain but carried on , bit of a slow 5K but still did it that’s the main thing , still no smoking I think I’m on about day 10 😊
Wet hair wet feet as few big puddles on the country lanes but all good , I felt quite liberated if that’s the right word out there running in the rain 🙈🤣

Great and well done. Stay strong and ignore the urge. After a while the very thought of smoking again will repulse you. Keep running and happy running.
Well done on the run in the rain, i find it feels like a better achievement too, and that's great about the smoking, i'm sure the running will help with that! 🤞
Brilliant run in the rain - embrace your inner child and splash right through those puddles. So proud of you on day 10 not smoking, well done. Happy running 🤗
You've done it - beat the nicotine addiction. You just need to stay strong to swat away the smoking gremlins now. Your run sounded amazing too - strong in mind and body - those gremlins don't have a chance!!!
You're definitely a runner not a smoker now that you have discovered the joy of running in the rain. Liberating described it perfectly doesn't it? Perhaps because we are brought up to wear coats and try to stay dry it awakens a rebellious streak in us?
I'm with Grannyhugs on this one. Splash through the puddles and release the inner child!!
You post made me want to give you such a big-old high five. Running in the rain, totally agree with you, it’s makes you feel so great after you come in and get that lovely shower etc. Tough at the time but great after. And no smoking. That is incredible. Just thinking about your post, running for me is a tough mental challenge but I am so chuffed with myself that I have stuck at it for a year now. My point is, running and getting into the habit of running is about Will power. So, by strengthening your willpower by running, this will hopefully strengthen your Will power to say no to other things ... that make sense?
