Good morning runners! Hope we are all well, il get the running stuff out of the way first π€£ running most days, decided to train back up to HM distance using NRC after reading some inspiring posts on here, a mix of 5-7k tempo, interval and recovery runs so far leading to a 10k tomorrow or Thursday depending when I schedule a rest day.
Now onto the fun stuff! Despite my dog being scanned a few weeks ago and being told she wasn't carrying any pups... A sleepless night on Sunday led two two tiny puppies being born on Monday morning! Sylvee and Misty!
Eevee (mummy dog) is doing amazingly well and has taken to motherhood like a duck to water, Sylvee (black pup) is healthy and strong πͺπ» Misty unfortunately was born with a hair lip and has problems feeding but is certainly trying her hardest! She seems strong and like she's certainly going to fight π₯all 3 going to vets today for a check over and hopefully the news on Misty will be good π€π»π€π» (if her pallette is also missing her prognosis is not good π) the fact she's already got to 48hrs unaided is a really good sign so here's hoping π€π»π€π»
I hope everybody is well and enjoying there running!

The vet said that Misty's pallette all appeared to be in place but couldnt be 100% with her being so tiny. Continue to monitor her but looking good. She will require surgery in future no matter what to correct her lip but we will cross that bridge when we come to it, the important thing now is that she continues to feed and grow and dosnt develop pneumonia π€π»
Oh my goodness, how exciting, and worrying about little Misty...puppy talk definitely trumps running talk!Glad the birth went well and Mum is doing a good job, the pups look beautiful, we'll all be crossing fingers & toes that Misty continues to manage her feeding and thrives along with Sylvee π€π
