First run after a weeks rest :)

Glad to say that after a week of resting (and eating far too much), I went out for a gentle 3km this morning to see how my back was after the fall and all was good!

I'm planning on a 4k and 5k this week to ease myself into it and will potentially start a programme similar to Ju-Ju's Magic Run again as I enjoyed that last time, especially the bit where the distance increased throughout the week and you had a nice easy 4k after the longest distance (it's where I beat my 5k time on a regular basis)

Great news that all is ok after your fall! Well done for sticking with it 😊👏👍

Take care and listen to your body as you start to increase the frequency of your runs.

Ah well done Kish247 😊. Sounds as though that rest was just what the doctor ordered! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

That’s great news about your back. Sometimes a good rest is just what our bodies need.
