I've not posted a lot the latest time, because I have not run a lot the latest time. I ran my first 10K on 12/06 I think, then my next run was only a full week later with a 60 minute run on 19/06 I think and ever since then I have not run a single time!
Either life got in the way or I just could not get myself to go out and run. I was planning on running this weekend, but again: life got in the way. My folks had an accident with water and the laminate flooring in their bedroom. So on Saturday I helped take out the old laminate flooring, pushing furniture around and placing the new laminate flooring, which took a whole day (12 hours). Unfortunately my body is used to sitting on a chair in front of a computer the whole day and NOT used to bending down, crawling around on my knees and getting up again a whole day.
Because of which I am still today suffering from serious sore muscles in my whole body. I can hardly even use the toilet from the pain in my legs and buttocks. So I don't think I will be able to run today or even tomorrow. Call me a soft one, but pain and me really don't go together. So I fear I might have to wait until Thursday maybe before I can get a run in. And that is if I feel like it. Because starting from Wednesday, I have to go back to work full time (no more home working for me), which will be a serious change (also in my mood).
I know I'll have to build up a bit again, but no way around it. My new 10K will have to wait a bit. I'll also have to give myself a good kick in the butt to get running again, because the less I run, the less I feel like running. So I urgently need to get into a running routine again. In combination I fell into the sugar again the past week, because of which I don't have a lot of energy either. Yeah, I need a serious kick in the butt!!
