After covering 6k this morning, I wasn’t sure about our evening walk, the first was round the lake to the sea, the second was along the river with daughter and dog, today we had said we will walk to the top of the downs
So we did!
It was hot, Willow took his tee shirt off and strode ahead but eventually I caught up and once we got to the top of the hill we could see for miles, the sea was blue the sky was blue, the crops bright green and the grass lush. Skylarks singing and swooping while butterflies fluttered around us, pure happiness
Photo along the coast all the way to Beachy Head

Another nice walk for you this evening, I can see the sea in the distance in that photograph you have taken, you deserve that beef after the walk, talking about walking and running, there is a member of my Thursday morning walking group who is doing C25K, I got a text from him this evening asking me to join him tomorrow morning to run, run 3 of week 3 with him, so that will be a extra run for me this week before I run that London Vitality Virtual 10,000 on Wednesday.
That sounds really great Al, to run with someone new to running and best of luck with the vitality 10k , we have been doing very little so being off work for a few days I suggested we break our evenings up with a mid evening walk, the hills of the Downs are good strengthening and the morning runs have been great although Willow seems to prefer walking to running lately it’s gentler on his knees
