First 10K

I did it. It took forever, but I did it, Actually did 10.5K just so it would show up on my Garmin which I am getting used to after a practice walk yesterday.

I think two days off now and a 5K then another 10K on Sunday just to prove to myself I can do it!

I think after that I will build up to 10k again in order to get quicker (and less injury prone!)

An excellent use of a bank holiday day and a real achievement, well done! For me, even a 5k seems some way off, but it's great to see other getting to their targets, it makes it seem possible that I could get there one day in the future. Enjoy a well deserved break, and I'm sure you'll do great again on Sunday.
