I just did my first 10k without stopping:))) just decided today that I would go super slow to see if that helped with my breathing, it so did and as I was actually enjoying the run thought I would just keep going!! Feel fantastic!
I think I have been hung up on speed and pushing for faster 5k time, so it was very liberating to slow down....felt fab at the last 1k and speeded up for a real end on a high:)))

Ah that's brilliant. So Now you know you can do it you can run like that in your 10k race ! 😉 I found going slow helped me too, focussing on distance rather than speed. 😀
10k is a great distance to run, you have the time to find a pace that's comfortable for you and it is a fantastic achievement . 10k wow - How far we have all come !
