Woke up this morning feeling slightly rough and headachy but decided I'd see if I could run my aches and pains off as the cold wind had dropped.
So I thought I'd try a slightly new route which runs along a small patch of fen and wood.
However I'd barely rounded the corner when I turned round to see Pitta the puppy had escaped. Looking frightened (as usual) but wanting to come too. I thought the gate was puppy proof!
Took her home and continued but when I got to the fenland some idiot had put electric fencing across the footpath 😡 - 3 times 😡. I fell over it on the third crossing 😏but luckily not electrocuted and fence ok. Then I had the challenge of a couple of stiles which were surrounded by nettles reaching for my bare legs 🥵.
Finally nearly home and bumped into a neighbour with her grandson who she is minding as their new baby arrived this morning so had to stop for a chat.
All in all not a smooth run, rubbish time but actually a lovely pretty route with virtually no road running so I'll probably try it again soon 🙂🙃🙂.
