Help! My Fitbit just bit the dust. It has been a trusted ally on my running journey, but I understand that Garmin probably offers a bit more. What would you knowledgeable folk recommend? Thanking you ๐.

Thanking you! I splashed out and got one; I figured you and Tasha know your onions, and it looks like just what Iโm after. Iโll spend tomorrow evening fiddling with it Iโm sure. ๐๐๐
I have been thinking of getting the Garmin 45 BUT what is the screen like? I don't want to have to wear glasses to read it (although that reminds me I must get my eyes checked!)
Another Garmin 45S satisfied customer, I love mine. You get hooked on checking your stats and especially how young you appear on your VO2 max score (I am half my actual age!)
Thank you Newbie59! Hopefully itโll be delivered today and I can set it up this evening. Then the stat checking shall begin! ๐
I myself have the VivoActive 4S, meaning the small version. It doesn't look like a sports-watch and I bought another strap for it (non plastic). I wear it 24/7 and nobody sees it's a sports-watch. It just looks like a normal watch. I don't use the smartwatch functions though, they drained my battery too much. I have the 24/7 heart-rate, stress, sleep, steps, etc. on. And a nice looking but low draining screen. I have to load the battery 1 time per week.
The battery drains more quickly using the GPS feature when out for a run or a walk. I tend to charge mine twice a week. Do check the battery level before setting out on a run. Once my watch expired mid run so no stats that day ๐ learnt my lesson!
