More Garmin Negativity

I will readily admit that I wasn't in the best of health this morning. The words Wagon; Wheels and Fell Off came to mind as I nursed a bit of a sore head which was all my wife's doing.

Its been a really emotional and stressful 5 or 6 days and when she suggested we crack open a bottle of Baileys over ice who am I to argue? This was then followed up (by me) with several bottles of beer as I remembered Wentworth was on 5Star. Oh yes!

It was very wet this morning but fortunately there was glorious sunshine at lunchtime so off I went on my Hill Repeats training which was seriously hard. Once again Gerald decided that it would be beneficial to mark my homework with another "unproductive" telling off.

What I think he was trying to say was:

"Well done Alan, you have achieved x2 segment personal bests up that 1.6km hill and also reached a pace of 3.22 min/km"

Grrr! 😡

I've now removed Gerald's so called training status off my home screen !😀

That’s an impressive training session, my mrs garmin doesn’t have training status just v02max fitness age 😀and that’s hidden away so i only look when I feel I’ve run faster, we don’t mention Willows though Baileys ooo yum

I take it all with a pinch of salt but when i first got mine sent screenshots to my daughter who said she was concerned about my oxygen levels and low and behold two days later i was in hospital with supplemented oxygen so i keep an eye on that

PS The pace was only 20 second hill spurts - not the whole run. Blimey, I think I would have another cardiac event 😁

I remember those on a garmin plan, we ran up and down a very steep hill and enjoyed it then of course got the ‘work to do’ message at the end
