And another one

I’m working funny hours today and wasn’t sure I’d fit another short run in, but woke at a reasonable time so off i went, around the same time most of the local school children were thinking of walking to school 😂

Decided to turn left at the bottom of the close today, left again 2 roundabouts along and then at what I thought would be the half way point wasn’t so did a bit of upping and downing the next road so this one isn’t a circle or an out and back

The air was cooler, just fresh on my shoulders and looking at the trees and flowers, lush green grass and smiling with happiness, not fast, not slow, just a short run to set me up for the day

Have a lovely day all

Oh and Garmin loves these short runs, fitness age 46 😂

Funny hours, sounds a great laugh, I suppose Ken Dodd invented that saying😊😊😂😂I am happy that you enjoyed your run today, well done, I enjoyed my 8K run this morning as well, I was hoping to run it in less than a hour, my time was 58.46, so both of us had good runs.

That’s a brilliant time for you Al, i worked 11-6.30 and wasn’t sure i would be able to run round those hours, tomorrow we have a leaving party so another late finish, i am so looking forward to my day off Friday

Guess what,?, when I got home from that 8K run the postman came and delivered the letter telling me that my second vaccination for Covid 19 is next Monday at ten past nine in the morning, I intend to run a 9K on Wednesday, I just hope any after effects of the jag on Monday won't affect my run 48 hours later.

You might be on, I felt lousy after the first and perfectly ok after the second

I think Ken Dodd was more like "funny overtime" given the reputation he had for the length of his shows.

Gosh!

Many, *many*, years ago...when I was in the hospital, I worked a lot of afternoon/late shifts.

There used to be “women’s leisure” sessions at the local leisure centre, and I would do the morning sessions...a class followed by a swim, before work. This was the early 1990’s...and I’d noticed my uniforms were getting tight! 😂..... I’m still about a stone heavier than then! Also went walking...not a runner back then!

It does set you up for the day though!

Happy running! 🐌🐢🏃🏻‍♀️🥰🌞🌱

It does set you up for the day but i’m a bit shattered now, Sunday was 2-9 Monday 2-10.30 Tuesday 7-3 and then today, I’m hoping all our sick people are back next week as my own work is piling up but i’m working the weekend to catch up

Oh yuck. Thank goodness my unsocial shift days are over! No mass vac shifts this week...have x1, possibly 2, next week.

Hope those people are back soon...or you’ll be joining them!

One says she will be back on Friday and one came back this evening otherwise i’d still be there, my cold wasn’t too bad but Willow had a rotten one and now i seem to have caught his, so i only have to get through tomorrow and friday off then it will be quiet at the weekend and I can catch up

The watch definitely likes the shorter runs, especially if you do a couple in succession.
