My Lockdown running had been going really well initially. I had also started doing yoga again for the first time in many years, as well as using a great work out app to build up strength. Sadly, four weeks ago, having just finished a fairly enthusiastic workout, I got up from the floor - only to have to drop back down again as the room starting swirling! I knew immediately what it was (BPV - Benign Positional Vertigo), as I have had it a couple of times in the past. Not nice. Another similar episode occurred the following day, after which I was left with short bouts of slight swimminess from time to time. So no upside down yoga, no workouts and saddest of all, no running!!π’
The last few weeks things have very slowly improved - some days better than others. I have managed work (in a school) and was able to use the exercise bike when I felt better.
Saturday was my first run in four weeks π± - went with OH and we ran our local Parkrun course together ( the hill still hurts!π) I took it slowly, but felt good - getting out for a run again was soooooo nice! πππ½ββοΈ
Not running, was horrible, as it always is - so thoughts as always to anyone stuck on the injury Couch for whatever reason. Stay strong and here's hoping you are soon back out there too! ππx
