Another lovely exploration of a new route this morning with hubby and I walk-running (he walks fast as I run slow). In its full length it might just get to ca 10k.
It follows first a field lane, than a track alongside various fields, trailing over a stile, then a dirt track passing two farms, leading to a lane that will eventually pass under a motorway and to a country lane.
Just one stile at ca 3k. Some patches will be inaccessible in winter, and a muddy patch which defeated us ca 2 month ago was now completely dry.
We turned around just before getting to the motorway as 7.5k was enough for today, saving up for a 10k for next week. My time was again nothing to brag about, but my excuse was the 3 stiles we encountered (before finding the un-stiled route) and checking my map a handful of times.
I also had tried a heel lock for my laces, which worked great on this uneven ground.
A nice, slow, long-ish run, overall.

Happy running everyone!
