Got up early and headed out before it got too hot, 15 degrees at 6.30am, this is the north of Scotland what’s that about! Unsure if I was going to do 5 k or get my 10k done for this week so headed off to do a slightly different take on a familiar route. Got to decision point and decided to do 10k. This means running up a rather steep hill which when I got home Strava called it Holy Hell 🤣. I was very slow going up but going down the other side was a relief. Managed my run in 1 hour 6 minutes and 45 seconds which I am pleased with as the track 1 k part of the run was a bit muddy and very uneven. Going to just potter around the house today and recharge my batteries for tomorrow’s golf. It’s all go! Stay cool all. 🤣🌞
Another 10k done: Got up early and headed out... - Bridge to 10K
Another 10k done
Great effort in that heat, 10k and hills, great time for it. Enjoy your golf tomorrow. Happy running 🤗
Thank you. How’s the new house? Are you finding lots of new running routes?
New house and so close to extended family is wonderful. Routes are all on roads which was fine in lockdown but getting a bit busier. Started social cycling with a local group of women so that should also show me new routes. Bet your glad your in the shire not the city at the moment 🤔 hope they get outbreak under control.
I am glad thanks. I bet all the idiots who went into busy pubs are sorry now!
Good idea to get out early but not much cooler like you say. Great going up ' holy hell' . Enjoy your golf tomorrow 🏃♀️🏌️♀️
Well done early bird... it is really warm and hills too on your run 👏👏👏. Enjoy golfing in the sun... 😀
