I’m hoping that my foot problems will be coming to an end very soon! With the shops open again in England I went off to a nearby running shop and got fitted for some new shoes. My gait is apparently normal which is good news and after trying a few pairs I ended up with some Brooks Ghost 13 a little bigger than my previous Asics.
The old shoes had lost their spongy feeling (I found this out after trying on the new ones) and this could be why my feet were hurting as they weren’t getting the protection. I need to hold off running until the pain has gone from my feet and then I should be fine. Happy days 😀

Hi glad you got your new trainers after lockdown. I’ve got brooks ghost 13 wide foot and they’re bouncy, and ran in snow yesterday had a good grip which was surprised but maybe I was cautious as well. Hope you get running shortly and get happy feet 🦶😀
Nice Shoes. Hope your feet will be more comfortable in them. Brooks are good. I find them very comfortable for running. Happy running in the new shoes.
My current running shoes are nearly worn through at the forefoot and provide almost no padding at all. I love them! I have new replacements with exactly the same sole. They're not as comfortable and will need a little breaking in before I do any distance in them.
AHH that's brilliant 👍 mine hurt my toes after the first try out but after cutting my toenails 😆and trying again today..they were fine and I even managed a personal best 5K 👏Happy Running
My current shoes are starting to hurt, am a little conflicted got them for Christmas but I'll try my old shoes for a while. Not yet comfortable with going to the shops, way too busy.
