After taking part in the GNR and hurting my Achilles i was advised to take 4 weeks off running, bought new running shoes last weekend with added Achilles support Brooks Levitate 2 LE (gorgeous shoes) had 2 runs in these both runs just over 4 miles, i noticed last night that my the sole of my left foot starting to feel numb after 3 miles, has anyone else experienced this with new shoes and did i wear off after more runs, thinking maybe these aren't the correct shoes for me, gutted caused i love the style.

You can go back to the running shop if you’re not happy with the shoes. I’s what they do, they won’t mind. Their reputation is based on customers being happy with their shoes

I hope you get it sorted 👍😃

Dr Google says shoes putting pressure on nerves or too tight laces :(

Hope you find out which one

yes! i got this with my ultraboosts - normally kicked in after 4 miles, and i got it again with my brooks ghost 11's - the answer...lacing! It was a little too tight at the toe end (had not noticed it at the beginning) but as soon as i adjusted the lacing - problem resolved :-)

Hope this works for you - can we get a pic of the shoes...i love looking at them and the levitates are beauties!

If it's a lace problem, try out some of the styles here

not sure if with Brooks Levitates the way the laces are can be changed, but going back through to running shop and will ask them to check them out.

Could be, as others have said, that they are laced too tight. The quest for the perfect running shoe can be a long and (sometimes uncomfortable) one! I tend to overpronate but do not get on with stability shoes since an injury a couple of years ago and now run much better in neutral shoes - go figure! Hope you are able to sort your problem out. 🙂

If there are problems with numbness, then it is better to consult a doctor, and if this does not help, it is better to order good running shoes perfectshoesforyou.com/best..., with this shoe I it’s easy and practical to run, it doesn’t squeeze or rub anything.
