Well, morning runners, another early, for me anyway, run, after being dragged out of bed by sparky66, virtualy of course π had agreed to run together today. So, out the door at 9am, as agreed, was a bit nippy, but decided on just short sleeves, as i know i'm going to warm up quickly π₯΅ so many runners out at this time of day, most very fast, gazelle like, but very friendly, must be the serious runners time of day!π€
Anyway, was thinking about you Caroline, plodding along with me, we must have kept each other going π kept my pace slow today, looking after the slight niggly hip, but felt comfortable, sparky66 left me behind at the end, to get a new 10k PB ππ was happy with my slower time, and really enjoying these earlier runs!
Hope your all have a good easter weekend, either running/walking, and as usual thinking about those on the IC. π°π£π°π£π°π£

Hey Peter - you were out at the same time, so that makes you a serious runner too right?!!Great 10k there - sensible to take it steady and glad to hear the hip is holding up ok.
Very good virtual 10K for you Peter44, that time of 1h 28 minutes was the time of my very first 10K, however, I did not count it as I wanted my first 10K to be non stop running and sub 75 minutes, I did have a few walking breaks with that 1.28 time, a few months later I did run a non stop 10K in 73.23 which I hope you will be able to run very soon, congratulations on your run today πππΎ
That's a great PB time AlMorr for your 10k, todays was actualy on par with my first ever 10k, time not a big thing really, just happy to be out there running! π
It is very nice to be out there running, 10K or whatever, my PB 10K is 69.23 which was the 3rd 10K of the 10Ks that I have ran, I have not run a 10K for ages, however, I have signed up for the Virtual London Vitality 10,000 at the end of May so I will be running, week by week 1 Kilometre more until I get to 10K again.
Well done on your 10k Peter, a nice early morning one too, much better to run in the morning and it sets you up for the day too. Nice to have virtual running buddy ππββοΈπββοΈ
Well done, Peter for getting up so early π and itβs a great to have a virtual running buddy! You did the sensible thing in taking it steady because of your hip, but it was a good run for you nevertheless and another 10K under your belt! Oh, and of course youβre a serious runner! ππππ
Thanks Dups, and well done with your 9k today, even the hills π₯΅ i actualy mixed mine up a little today, with a hill, which i try to avoid π₯΅Happy easter. π°π£π°
Well done mate! No running for me lately, I'm on the third day of a 4 day bathroom renovation and don't have a bath/shower or sink plumbed in π€£π€£ trying to stay as clean as possible in the kitchen sink so runnings off menu until next week.
π€£ no but I'm tempted ! Turns out it's a 5 day bathroom renovation π€¦πΌββοΈ at least im getting my stretches in getting one foot up on the kitchen worktop to erm.... Polish the family jewels π€£π€£
π€£ very welcome. You will all be pleased to know I have had 2 baths now and no longer risking scaring the neighbours through the kitchen window π€£π€£
Just need to decide now if I'm returning to running before or after the weekend π€
Nice little 10k there and good to get it in early doors!! I got out today for the furthest walk Iβve done in ages (35mins on soft terrain, yeehah!) and no adverse effects so I am cautiously optimistic I may have turned a corner in my rehab. Iβll be back out there with you gazelles soon π Happy Easter π£ π£π£
Thanks, and nice to hear from you, was wondering how you were getting on with the injury problems, hope it wont be too long till your back with us.Happy Easter. π°π£π°
