A whole year ago I did W1R1 and if you'd have told me then that I'd be running 10 miles in less than 12 months time, I wouldn't have believed it!
I love this forum, everyone is always so supportive as we debate eternal questions such as, what to wear when it's very cold/a little bit less cold/chilly/mild/boiling hot.
Currently stuck on the IC, so no run today, but looking forward to getting back out there soon.
Happy running everyone and thanks for your support this year.

Wow! Happy runniversary Lizcanrun !ππββοΈπ What a difference a year can make - and well done on all you have achieved! πππSadly niggles and injuries can be part of the journey too, as I know only too well(!) but I am sure you will be back pounding out the miles soon. Good luck!π
Congratulations on your runniversary and what a shame that youβve got to spend it on the IC! Itβs good to look back and reflect on how far weβve come and also how our aims and plans change! How we complained about running for 3 whole minutes! How we were convinced weβd never manage W5 R3! 5K was such a long way and it didnβt seem possible we would ever be able to run that far; but with the help and support of people on this wonderful forum - we did all of those things and much more besides. Somewhere along the way, we became runners! π
Happy Runniversary - what an amazing achievement π₯³. Trust me when I say that you are an inspiration to those who follow in your footsteps, and you should be very proud! π€. I am a fellow Liz, also celebrating my Runniversary today and I remember well that exhausting W1R1!! I am still plodding along slowly behind you after four months on the IC - you may catch a glimpse of me in your rear view mirror π . So take care of yourself, listen to your body and hopefully you will be off the IC to continue your running adventure very soon.
Here's to many more future runniversaries! Enjoy your celebration π€ΈπΌββοΈπ₯πΎ
Happy Runniversary and happy Easter π£ so glad youβre still committed to your running even tho youβre on the IC at the moment... such a great achievement to get to 10 miles too, wow, Iβm not there yet but one day maybe π€
Congratulations ππ₯π, 10 miles is incredible ππHope you get off that IC very soon π
.....and yes this forum is incredible too π, it is the fount of all wisdom, support and empathy that we all need at some stage on this running journey . π
