A cold run brrrrrr

Well I went out this morning after a 7 day break of running ( although I did try to run on Christmas Eve but it was toooooo icy🤣🤣) today was cold -3 but off I went on a new route thinking it might be less icy and safer. However it was soooo cold. Took me a long time to warm up and by that time my music had gone AWOL so fiddled with radio and got that working. Different!!!!!! Then to the track by the railway a bit icy but more dangerous was the 🐕 Poo. Negotiated that track crossed the road and down towards the river my was it cold down there. Actually speeded up as it was soooo cold. Got to the churchyard and through it and I was done as I was back on icy pavements. A quick careful walk home to hot drink and nice hot shower 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🧑‍🎄🏃‍♀️🧑‍🎄🏃‍♀️🧑‍🎄🏃‍♀️Not a brilliant run but a run nonetheless 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️Happy running

Nice! I woke up this morning to an all white (and icy) sight! So I fear no running for me this morning... I am chickening out! 🐓

It took me a while to persuade myself to get out of the house I must admit but once I was put there I had to run to get warmed up. Didn’t do my 5 minutes of warm up walk. It was just too cold❄️🥶

Yes It was different as I normally run with music not too sure about radio. But it was too cold to bother trying to sort out playlist issues 🤣🤣

Well done!! It was snow here in Manchester but I have to be honest and admit that even without the snow I wouldn’t have had a run. I just need to bite the bullet now and stop being so lazy!

No snow here in the NE of Manchester. Just a few flakes on Christmas Day which didn't stick. Places on higher ground, like Oldham and Rossendale did get a fair bit, though.

I’m in Urmston and I woke up to a sheet of white snow which made everywhere look beautiful but not so good to walk or drive in - or run for that matter! My excuse anyway!
