Hiya,

Today I had planned the long run of the week, again 55 minutes. Cold, but sunny, perfect running weather!

I started with a toxic 5, no not 10, it was just 5 minutes. I felt as if my body was still sleeping or something. But after 5 minutes I came into the vibe and even found a good rhythm. All good!

Around 30 minutes I felt so good, I thought I could handle a 10K if someone threw it my way.

At about 35 minutes I wanted to take a Powergel Shot, of which I had put 2 in a little bag in my trouser's back pocket. So blowing your nose and trying to extract 1 Powergel Shot out of my backpocket in the 30 seconds walking interval did not combine. I had to run again when I was still struggling to zip up my pocket. And now I had to nibble the jelly while running! My snotty nose and nibbling does not combine. Ok, I definitely have to think this over for a better working...

40 minutes into the run, I suddenly felt my legs starting to ache. Not a pleasant feeling. I blame the fact I have once again not drunk enough the past 2 days. Note to myself: DRINK! But despite the achy legs, I was still in a good mood and was still loving my run. I did know though that if anyone threw a 10K my way at that moment, I would duck and let it fly over my head...

Somewhere I nibbled my second Powergel Shot. No idea if it does anything, but I guess it won't hurt either.

And then 55 minutes came and my interval timer beeped. I pushed my watch to stop the activity and that was another 55 minute run dusted and done!

In 55 minutes I ran 6,33 km. I am now at 22,89 km of the 97,1 km of the Kilimanjaro challenge. And 1 tree is now being planted for me, for being over 20% of the challenge.

Very well done and your climb to Kilimanjaro. You must have felt good today. Your nearly at your 60 minutes. Happy 🏃‍♀️👏

Sounds likexa good run. A lovely image of you running along trying to load and unload your back back and eat all at once.Maybe try juggling next time?Seriously thought congratulations on the run. Have you scheduled in the big 60?.Can't wait to hear about it.

First running 55 minutes and then going for a walk to the animal shop for food and kitty grass combined with not enough water has not done my poor legs good. They are sooo stiff... How am I going to run tomorrow?
