Hiya,

Today I had planned the long run of the week, again 55 minutes. Cold, but sunny, perfect running weather!

I started with a toxic 5, no not 10, it was just 5 minutes. I felt as if my body was still sleeping or something. But after 5 minutes I came into the vibe and even found a good rhythm. All good!

Around 30 minutes I felt so good, I thought I could handle a 10K if someone threw it my way.

At about 35 minutes I wanted to take a Powergel Shot, of which I had put 2 in a little bag in my trouser's back pocket. So blowing your nose and trying to extract 1 Powergel Shot out of my backpocket in the 30 seconds walking interval did not combine. I had to run again when I was still struggling to zip up my pocket. And now I had to nibble the jelly while running! My snotty nose and nibbling does not combine. Ok, I definitely have to think this over for a better working...

40 minutes into the run, I suddenly felt my legs starting to ache. Not a pleasant feeling. I blame the fact I have once again not drunk enough the past 2 days. Note to myself: DRINK! But despite the achy legs, I was still in a good mood and was still loving my run. I did know though that if anyone threw a 10K my way at that moment, I would duck and let it fly over my head...

Somewhere I nibbled my second Powergel Shot. No idea if it does anything, but I guess it won't hurt either.

And then 55 minutes came and my interval timer beeped. I pushed my watch to stop the activity and that was another 55 minute run dusted and done!

In 55 minutes I ran 6,33 km. I am now at 22,89 km of the 97,1 km of the Kilimanjaro challenge. And 1 tree is now being planted for me, for being over 20% of the challenge.

On to more!

First running 55 minutes and then going for a walk to the animal shop for food and kitty grass combined with not enough water has not done my poor legs good. They are sooo stiff... How am I going to run tomorrow?
