Strava?

Hi All. Is anyone else having problems with Strava? Today mine said I had run 6.25km. My Husband did same route his said 7.89km. I would like to think his is right!! It felt more like 8km. We checked our route and they were exactly the same.

I have a samsung watch and they have been updating the Strava app. Yesterday I did 5K bang on. The watch said 5K initially but then recorded at 4.5 on the app. Its deffo 5! Doesnt help as the Sansung Health app gives me incredjblly fast pace and usually doubles my distance . Samsung are useless in fixing this and Strava seem just as bad. I just lkke the segments on Strava. What is the best app and best watch? Recommendations from here are probably better than anywhere!

I think I should not worry too much and just enjoy the run but its quite annoying when you know its wrong! I may get a watch too.

Do you know if strava is usually accurate? I just accept what it tells me usually but today as my Husband did it too we checked.

Well it can be a bit out, but not that much. Maybe a couple hundred metres 🤷🏽‍♀️

I had the audio alerts on yesterday and according to Strava I ran 1km in 2 mins!!! I switched it off...much as I would have liked it to be true 😂

I use strava as the distance on my Samsung watch was inaccurate. It was estimating the distance based on my previous runs, it didn't factor in my short legs! I have found strava to be accurate and consistent so far.....

It wasn't just Strava. Here are my Runkeeper splits from yesterday 🤣 and I only ran 7km. The updates gave me a giggle on my way round
