For my (not) Park Run on Saturday I decided to do a warm up jog first - about 2k (after usual 5-10 minute walking warm up), run the 5k, then a jog afterwards - about 3k, hence calling it a sandwich! Run was fine but due to human error, pressing the wrong button I think, the distance/time wasnโt recorded correctly. Luckily I was on my usual route so know the total was 10k ๐.
Today I got ready for my run only to discover that my watch hadnโt charged up! Perhaps there is something wrong with the charger or watch itself? ๐ค. Luckily I had already decided to do an interval session using an app on my phone. The session was 27 mins in total of jog (30 secs) run (20 secs) sprint (10 secs) with a walk 1 min after 3 repeats. It is a longer time since I have done any interval training and quite enjoyed it. I pushed myself on the sprint part really pumping my arms and legs - Squiggy looked back at me wondering what was happening ๐ถ๐คฃ. After the session finished I continued jogging until the end of the trail so total was about 5k.
Happy running everyone.

Ahhh tech issues are annoying are they SS? ๐คฆโโ๏ธ Lucky you knew your route well. Hope your watch sorts itself out. ๐ค
Sounds like youโve had some good runs though. ๐โโ๏ธ Was it the JogRunSprint app you were using? I use that one sometimes - not as much as I should - and I enjoy it, although not at the time! ๐ Flossie does the same as Squiggy. She wonders what on earth Iโm doing! ๐ ๐พ๐
Yes, same app - it is very good but took me a while to sort out intervals and sets - very confusing! Ordered a new charging lead, hopefully that will sort it ๐. I think Squiggy wondered why I was puffing even more than usual ๐คช
