Against my head saying no and body saying yes, I headed out to my well trodden windfarm trails.

I have never run in deep powdery snow, it was -4 and felt like -10 at least. It certainly gave me a good workout, albeit one of my slowest runs. Really enjoyed it although a bit scary. Not so bad as I would do it again!!!😱

Stats 7.63km in 1.06.16 and the last run on JJMP timed plan. Hopefully onto the distance plan next week.🤞

Safe running to everyone in this weather. ❄👍.

Well done on getting out . It does give you a full workout running in snow like that. It slowed me down too but I enjoyed it❄👏👏

Oh well done. I know the wind farm well and it can be wild up there. 🥶

Hi Alvor, good to hear from someone who is familiar with this place. Usually it’s blowing a gale and makes the running equally as challenging. The snow is a pleasant diversion.

It was fun but hard, the old legs are telling me so tonight. Wish I could send you some snow!!❄️❄️

Wow, what a great run, sounds exhilarating and that sure looks wintery, so cold 🥶, I’ll look forward to having a go one day, not one single flake of snow here in Norfolk 😀

It looks amazing but very challenging, sometimes I just wish for normal weather.🤞

Well done! It certainly looks very white up there. It must have been tough going through that snow! 🥶 But yes - I can get that it would be exhilarating too!

Thank you W and S you are too kind. It was fun, but hopefully thawing slightly tonight. Probably back to the usual rainy weather tomorrow.💦🙏🏼

Thanks cc, some might call it silly rather than brave. Honestly, for me I just needed to do it and it’s another running✅.

Oh I don’t know - surely the more snow there is, the more crunchy/less slippy it feels underfoot?

Great you came home safe and sound anyway 👍🏼

It didn't actually feel sloppy at all, I was really surprised.

Thank you, in the snow it does look amazing, but when blowing a hoolie it’s not so nice🤭

I’m super impressed you even attempted this run- I would have been admiring the snow from the comfort of a toasty house! Must have left so good after completing it. 🙌🏻

Did feel good but pretty tired, thawing this morning and left with dangerous ice😱. Hope it’s all gone tomorrow.🤞

What a magical photograph ❄️☃️

When you’re up in the wind farm tracks it is magical in the snow. Usually have it all to myself and in these times it’s good to get away by yourself.🙏🏼
