Good start to the new year with my first ever outdoor 6K run. My split times were quite good by my standards 7’24” 7’58” 7’48” 7’40” 7’34” 7’41” and that’s even having to stop for about 15 seconds to tie one of my shoelaces (only 3rd time that’s happened in 5 months) so I’ve got to be pleased with that effort.

Great start to the year. Hate if laces come undone so always double knot them - then have problem of frozen fingers trying to undo them at the end of a run 🤣 happy 2021 running 🤗
Haha yes me too. I thought I had double knotted them but not tight enough. It’s one of the most important things because you’re guaranteed to have to stop if they come undone and bending down actually stretched my legs and back in a way that wasn’t helpful in the middle of a run. Actually made me realise that I need to do some yoga!
