Tue, 4k with my daughter, no music, and nice to chat, all the way, actualy find it easier sometimes, running with her, 35 mins.
Thur, another 4k, back on my own, usual music, 35 mins, but found it harder than usual, maybe didnt drink enough water, on wed!
Today, well, planned another longer run, nice in the daylight, mixed up my routes a bit, harry potter, and the canal, under the m25, and back again! Felt much better, than thur evening, even after waking up in the night with cramp, in my calf π€, last week, i'd done 53 mins, so just thought , why not 60 mins today, which i did, and found really enjoyable βΊ my mum's now in a care home, next to the canal, about 10km away, so maybe i can run to visit her, one day, when we're aloud/they have a covid case, at the moment πͺ
Anyway, just as 60 mins came up, bat out of hell, came on my playlist, which i thought was quite apt, as i'm a big meat loaf fan, seen the musical 4 times! π€£
So, things have really moved on, from those early, c25k runs, was thinking about the lovely 20 min, w5r3 π€£
Enjoy the rest of your weekend! πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ

Well done on your 60mins- think you can get a new shiny badge now ππ»ππ» It must be that extra birthday youβve had- must make you run for longer.
Great effort, 60 minutes is marvellous and the badge looks lovely. Great target to run to your mother's care home. Trying times for all with folk in homes just now, not least the residents themselves. Hope you get back to see her soon. Happy running π€
Thanks, was just one of those runs, slow and steady, wasnt really a problem to keep going, and was nice to mix up the route a bit. As you say, it's a mad place, covid wise, we're in right now, especialy in care homes!
Woaaahhh!! Great stuff.. 7.2km π₯³π₯³π₯³ and your 60min badge. Amazing! Hope you are enjoying your post PB glow today..that is really quite a step up from your 4kms and obviously youβve got it in you to push it that bit further..the 10k is definitely within reach for you now!!! Sounds like you mixed it up nicely with your route, a bit of everything and Bat Out of Hell came on just at the right moment.. lol I love it when that happens π The right tune is like a turbo boost isnβt it??
Sorry youβre not able to see your mum at the moment. Life is so challenging on so many different fronts these days, the restrictions were all living under are difficult, obstructive and frustrating. Thank goodness we all now have our running to keep us going!! πͺπΌπͺπΌπ¦π¦
Thanks, it's funny how runs can be so different, thur/sat, guess that's the life of a runner, infact my first km pace was 7.55/km, which is fast for me, so tried to slow it down! It's still hard to believe, we're talking about running 6/7 km, and enjoying it so much! π€£When's your next run? π€
I know, itβs a bit mad isnβt it when not that long ago we were freaking at the thought of a 10min run lol Iβve taken a couple of extra days rest after my Thurs run to rest my usual knee niggle. I had an amazing sports massage today and feel SO much better and limbered up πͺπΌ Iβm planning my next run for Monday morning. Iβd be out tomorrow if weβd not arranged to meet friends for a socially distanced long country walk but hey ho π
