Hello all. I hope your running is going great and if you're on the IC , I hope you're recovering well.
Its been 2 weeks since I last posted but I'm still out running 4 times a week and loving every minute of it.
I'm 750 miles into LEJOG4 and just by Inverness so hoping to finish this month sometime.
We had some snow during the night which has now turned to treacherous icy pavements. I will see how it looks when I go out tomorrow morning . If its still the same I'm going to go over to the running track which is about 10 minutes away .
Walking on the pavements isn't too bad but far to slippy to run on. .
So thats all for now. 😊😊😊

Lovely snowy photo, exactly like my surroundings. Great progress on lejog, say hello to Inverness for me - I’m really lucky to have run on the gritted university campus grounds there all winter last year. Take care on that ice tomorrow, the running track sounds like a good idea. I’m not sure if there is such a thing in Perth and Kinross, being as I can’t go to Dundee due to our wonderful tiers. Happy running 🤗
Its funny Grannyhugs, I was actually thinking about you when I seen where I was on the map. Thank goodness for our running or those 'tiers' would have turned to 'tears' by now. 🤗🤗
I like that photograph of Buddy your dog, it was quite nice seeing the snow when I looked out the window this morning, I got a text from the leader of my Thursday walking group saying that there would be no walk so all I did was go a walk myself around part of my 5K running route to see how bad it was with the snow, I wore a good pair of walking boots.
There was a good part where I won't run but in some other parts of the course a snowplough had cleared the snow, so that is the part I will run my not parkrun on Saturday.
The weather forecast is for snow later tonight and early tomorrow morning, after that rain which could clear the snow by later on Friday or Saturday.
This afternoon I took Holly for a walk in the snow, Holly loves the snow, I had to stop her from rolling in it.
You’re doing so great! I’m near home in the midlands as I hope to reach 300 miles on LEJOG4 this week. I’m only managing 2 little runs a week but starting to love it again after I long spell of losing my mojo. Nice to hear your update x
The snow certainly looks pretty although a pain in the neck, as it stopped me running today too. 😡😡. Might ask Santa for a treadmill 🤞. Hopefully it will clear fairly soon. Safe running.
Congratulations on your LEJOG miles Buddy- you’ve done brilliantly. I bet that snow looked beautiful until people got out in it. You take care. ❄️⛄️❄️⛄️❄️
Amazing distance, well done. We have had snow on the hills today. Enjoy the track tomorrow.
Great update and fantastic progress. Look how you've developed as a runner, especially this year. You are out doing all sorts of runs in all sorts of weather and it's brilliant to see you so far along your Lejog journey. Champagne 🍾 is on ice here!!
Fantastic achievement. Roads here in Aberdeenshire have been icy all week and we now have snow. I managed a couple of runs but was very cautious, however, not sure what the weekend will bring. Stay safe
Great photo Buddy34 and well done on your progress to JOG which is now just around the corner that’s amazing running 🏃♀️ 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️ The ❄️❄️❄️Looks lovely but is hard to run on so that track will be useful for you over the next few weeks. Run safe and enjoy 👏👏👏🍾🍾🍾is waiting for your arrival.
If you’re up by Inverness I’m not surprised you’ve got snow Buddy! Huge well done on your LEJOG so far! Seriously though stay safe on those pavements, they can be treacherous!
