After what has been, without question, 2 of the worst weeks at work since I started (1981), this morning was a joy.
Crispy, sunny almost wind free. I set out with no goal at all, I just wanted to clear my mind (and wear my first ever pair of winter leggings!!!, they are very toasty!)
A comfortable 5km, and a wonderful 1.5 km walk after it and I feel better than I have all week.
Please take care and stay safe everyone.π·

Thanks, they are from Sturdy by Design, my first winter ones, and I can't believe what a difference a tiny inner layer makes!
Just what you needed Jell6, sorry youβve had 2 very tough weeks, looks like those cheerful leggings and your run in the sunshine have put them behind you π€
Iβm sorry youβve had a horrible time Jell, I canβt imagine some of the things you have to deal with in work atm.
But your run sounds (and looks) glorious πand I love those leggings! The colours are bright enough to make everyone smile which surely is a god-send in the world today.
I hope you have a lovely weekend and can get another run in π₯°
I'm sure we all have struggled recently Hidden , no doubt your wife is in the same boat, but yes, definitely grateful to have running, especially on such a beautiful day π
Hi Jell, good to hear you enjoyed a great run today to clear your head and give you a much needed boost. You are doing a fantastic job, but no doubt it must be so so hard.
Sorry you've had a horrible time at work but it's amazing what a balm running can be, as I'm still discovering. I was literally looking at those leggings last night and wondering should I....
They look gorgeous and will make running even better x
I read that too, but as I already size up in this make ( I'm a 12 but get large!) I didn't think I needed to change the size, and just as well, because they fit the same!!. Maybe it applies if you are at the top end of the fitππ¬
We are doing well ,thank you. I am not running right now...working on strength and stamina and building back up, mentally and physically! Slow and steady xxx You take care xxx
My colleagues are a bit surprised by my antics, apart from one close colleague who runs marathons and totally gets it. A few months ago, when we were actually working together, rather than working from home, I was grumpy and he said 'you need to go for a run.' π
I'm sorry to hear work has been a challenge lately. Those tights though! They are lovely! Wearing them and getting in a great run will help work through those tough times at work.
Not likely π. My winter tights werenβt warm enough the other day. I had a cold bum and was wishing I wore my quilted skirt over top. These in between temperatures get me and I have a hard time figuring out the best layers to wear. Soon, Iβm sure Iβll be bundled up again
Love this. Well done you!! Enjoy your afternoon and evening now π·
Thanks, now the wine, another issue. I set myself a " only one alcoholic drink per month for September October and November challenge " what the hell was I thinking π€―
Wow to the beautiful view and wow to the leggings! I do so hope your work improves it must be so tough. I can hardly begin to imagine. So pleased that your run was clearly of great benefit. ππ»ββοΈπ
