Woke up this morning with the sun streaming in. Definitely a day for a run.
Decided to stick to the roads today in the hope that they'll be a bit quieter with the lock down. I think I only saw half a dozen cars at the most. So it was through the nextdoor village and then weaving back through the country lanes to get home.
One aggravation when a woman obstructed me. They were walking 3 abreast (one on the road) towards me. I stepped off the pavement to give them space even though I was on the left of the road (traffic behind me). Thought she would have moved on to the pavement but she just kept going so I asked her - politely- to give me space but she didn't, just glowered at me.
Still it wasn't enough to spoil my run. Just a 5k today before a long one at the weekend. The road running certainly improved my speed. And I didn't end up with damp feet.
Happy running one and all.

That sounds like a lovely run Lifluf, bit it's a pity that some people are just so rude In glad she didn't spoil your enjoyment. Thick fog in Yorkshire I had a lovely dog walk surrounded by silence 😊
Your run sounds lovely, despite the frustrating pedestrian. Some people seem to get so cross, even though you are doing your best to avoid them and give them room as you run 😠. Others seem to be completely fine and helpfully move aside. Never mind. You didn’t let it spoil your run. Well done Lifluf 😊
I always like to give pedestrians space. I know some worry particularly about heavy breathing runners (although I have to say I wasn't out of breath). But I think its just common courtesy to co-operate. Never mind, maybe she'll be more considerate when the next runner passes her.
It's been perfect running weather with crisp, sunny days over here as well. It sounds like you had a beautiful run, let's hope the weather holds for your long run 🍂🍁🏃♀️
