Hi all!! I’m back!
I just finished my C25k journey, Zombie style, and I fear I’ll be joining the increasing number of NRC groupies for my next phase.
In my consolidation period, I’m planning to go through the NRC beginner audio-guided runs, possibly two at a time (7 min runs feel just too short for me! 🤣🤣) and then head to NRC’s 5k plan.
It’s a plan quite different from a C25k thing; it rather looks like it’s aimed at training you to be a better and faster and stronger 5k runner for runners who are already running regularly.
But it allows me to reconnect with our favourite coach! Although I seem to remember from last year that the first runs I was really not liking that much. Coach Bennett tended to waffle a bit too much. Only the longer runs got me really into liking his style.
But I’ll be patient with him! He’s given us so many runs!
And I think they have added a bit more diverse voices to the mix, which I’m really looking forward to running to!
So no CBDB planning plans for me for this phase, rather using CB’s planning talent, which is just simply too good!
After the 5k plan, I’m hoping that NIKE has been able to include its 10k plan into the NRC app! Otherwise, I’ll have to run it from the PDF as Beatlesforever did!
