First recovery run after 12 weeks of injury/treatment. Only 7 short 1 minute runs but out there for an hour and covered 6.2k so happy to be back!

Good sensible comeback running there... and some good distance covered while you were out there too.

It is a great feeling to be out there running after an injury lay off. You are clearly being really sensible and will be back to full fitness before you know it. 🙂

That's fantastic - a good welcome back to running and very sensible approach. Oddly, I think a period of injury can make us stronger runners due to better awareness. I certainly found that after nearly two months on the IC this year. Good luck!

Thanks Roxdog, I have joined a virtual running club and one of the coaches has drawn up a plan based on what the physio advised, now I have to be disciplined and stick to it! Xx

hi Phdg that’s great news, good luck with your programme, you did well to cover that distance in an hour, I don’t think I do much more when I run most of the way 😀🤗
