Managed a 2.5k recovery run this afternoon. Was hoping for more, but you know what? I'll take what I can get! I've been working every hour that the day holds for the last few weeks, sleeping not as much as I could, so as I now have four days off, an opportunity to sleep in for the next two mornings I'm gonna have a go at 8-8.5k on Sunday. Managed 7.5 last week, so the target is set.
I've lined myself up for it, so all I have to do now is get my feet in the starting blocks and smash that distance!

Well done for getting out there, I know how difficult it is, especially if the nights are drawing in, the temperature is dropping etc. That's still a mile and a half in the running bank that you wouldn't otherwise have done, and it all helps, believe me.
Short recovery runs are perfect prep for a harder session... keeps the leg building going, while not using too much power. Good job getting out there. Enjoy Sunday.
Hopefully it will be full of DRAMA! ACTION! QUIPS! COMEDY! and anything else I can throw in there. You know, like grindy joints, protestations of naughty kids and the dog sh*t lottery!
