Hi there
Is there an actual official app for post 5k? The NHS link on this page doesn’t go to anything related on the NHS site. I did a search on NHS website and found some podcasts but would love an app!
Thanks so much

No, no app for running a 10K, however, if you wish to run a 10K you could Google "Ju Ju's Magic 10 " which is a training course a little like C25K.
Hi! Which link are you talking about?
As AlMorr says, there isn't an NHS app, but there is ju-ju- 's Magic Plan. I loved it - super simple and worked brilliantly for me. All the info is here: healthunlocked.com/bridgeto...
If you want prompts for distance or times you can set Strava to do that. Others have also recommended the Nike Run Club app, though I haven't yet used it.
Happy running, whatever you choose!
There are apps out there that do couch to 10k, most of which allow you so skip to the halfway point. I’ve looked at many (I’d say all, but apps are appearing all the time, it’s difficult to keep up and I’m Apple only) and I’ve yet to see one with a plan that I’d recommend for getting to 10k. The magic plan on here is much better in my opinion. Most tracker apps can be set to update you on your run and tell you when to stop. If you want coaching along Nike Run Club offered guided runs that are compatible with most runs for free, and there are a couple of other apps that offer this for a premium.
If you have a compatible Garmin watch, Garmin coach will get you to 10k and even half marathon from any current running status, for no extra charge. The entry level watch which is compatible is £140 I believe (forerunner 45 plus) so if you’re considering a running watch, bear in mind compatibility with coaching plans.
