Hi there
Does anyone here use an app to guide them to 10k - similar to the One You c25k?
If so are there any recommendations please?

Maybe this can be of help. It's what I use.podcasts.apple.com/gb/podca...
Hello Sarah, I believe there are commercial apps available but most people on here use juju’s magic plan which involves 3 runs of different distances each week for 8 weeks. You can either run to a 1 hour target, or if you are already happy with running 5ks, you can aim for 10 km.. There’s no walking involved . But that’s fine because if you are on here, you are a runner.
I don’t know how long it’s been since you graduated, but just make sure you complete those consolidation weeks before moving on.
Juju’s plan is on pinned posts. You can take more than one day rest between runs and do them in any order each ‘week’.
Have fun
Hi
Thank you for that! I will take a look. I graduated end of Jan and then completed 3 weeks of consolidation runs - last week I completed my first ever 5k which was fabulous!! Aiming now to get to 10k 🏃🏼♀️🤞👍
Hi there, I graduated in June and kept running for 30 minutes but didn't move myself on. However, in December I achieved my first 5k. After a lousy January I've got back into running and in a mad moment I signed up to a 10k virtual run in June.
So now I am going to follow JuJu's magic plan, firstly the 60 minute one, then I will work to increase my distance. I do need two days rest between my runs, so it will take longer than 8 weeks! I have a Garmin watch to time my runs, and I play my own music.
Oooo well done you for singing up for the 10k 👍
I will look at JuJu’s plan but I do like someone in my ears talking to me - keeps me motivated
I keep hearing about the garmin watches, I currently have a fitbit which has really just been used as a step counter until I took up running but I do feel an upgrade coming on 😀
I didn't know I could run 5k until I got my Garmin watch in December (Black Friday deal). I saw that I had run 4.6 k so then I just kept going until I hit the 5 k, in 37 minutes. I think I will have to train myself to slow down a bit so that I can keep going for longer
