10K NRC plan - is it on app?

Hello,

I have used 5K NRC app (after completing C25K plan) and I really enjoyed it (I like the format, choices and verbal support).

I am passed that now (running up to 6K) and would like to consider 10K plan. However, I can't find 10K plan on the app! ( there is only 5K, half-marathon and marathon). But there is 10K plan as pdf:

nike.com/pdf/Nike-Run-Club-...

Do I miss something? How do I get it on my phone as app?

Is it only for subscribers (if there is such an option)?

Any suggestions/ advice?

Thank you!

Annoyingly, that programme isn’t on the app. You’ve got to manually select the runs from the pdf list.

Really good luck with your journey to 10k!

The lovely CBDB made a spreadsheet with links, I think this is the one, you can click each link and it will take you to the corresponding run.

I think the links might not be working at the moment-it could just be me though! Xx

I clicked the first one and it was ok, but haven't checked them all x

It’s taking me straight to the App Store. You’ve got to love tech…

Oh, how strange, I have an android phone, if i click the link at the bottom of the page it takes me to the spreadsheet and if i click a link it comes up at bottom of screen, I click that and takes me to the run,

Perhaps its an apple/android thing. Mine’s an iPhone and it’s not playing nicely!

Your link is correct Sue, but the links on the Nike site appear to have gone pear-shaped!

Dunno what’s happening at NRC but it’s not helpful 😤. I’m doing the marathon plan and right from the outset few of the guided runs are linked to the app. Links to a guided run for each session of the plan was definitely inferred by Coach Bennett, and happened on my very recent HM plan

I deleted the whole shebang the other day as even after an update the guided runs were still not showing up You had to delve into the guided runs bit and download them but then they don’t get added and ticked off your plan! Grrrr

Once I’d deleted the app, reinstalled it, I was relieved to see all back to normal. For now 🤞 My recent runs had to be added manually but don’t show up on my plan as being done 😏

I know it’s free, and fabulous when working properly, but so often it isn’t

I keep a paper plan as back up 🙂

Just tested this again, on IPhone , and it still seemed to work for me. 🤔 huh! Tech. (@missunderstanding I’d suggest switch off phone and reboot and see if it corrects itself … but huh 🤔 I’m stumped)

However, I am aware that Nike has a system that dynamically and regularly changes the web-addresses, so links become out of date after a few months or so. I haven’t found a way around it yet.

As it takes several hours to copy and paste updated links into this document, I think I will put a disclaimer on top explaining this, and then my guidance, which is as follows:

- In preparation for each week, either click the links (if they are working) or search for the run and download it.

- Do this for all 5 runs in the week.

- Then you have access to all these 5 runs under the NRC App DOWNLOADED tab.

- When preparing the next week, remove the ticked of, completed runs and download the next week’s runs.

That way one also gets a satisfying tick after each run completed.

I’ll add that to the document when next I have a minute.

Thanks CBDB . I was testing via an ancient computer running Windows, so that probably explains it. No problem for me pesonally anyway as I don't do plans or NRC, but I'm sure Just-Breath and others will appreciate the info 😀

proper annoying isn’t it. I’ve just been reading the pdf and then searching within the app for the listed run. Quite why they haven’t made it the same as the 5k and the HM is beyond me 🤷🏻‍♂️
