Shin pain šŸ˜«

On the inside left shin is a pain. Itā€™s been niggled and have been ok but I donā€™t want to do a proper injury. Iā€™ve rested for a week and to be honest am climbing the walls to go and run.

Any advice on shin pain please?

Congratulations! You've acquired a shin splint.

Rest it. Do calf stretches. Dial down the running.

It took me four weeks to start running again after getting both ankle sprains and a shin splint.

I had a pain on the lower inner leg develop some time in June, and it took me five weeks completely off (two and three, with cycling and hiking though), three months in total, significantly slowing down my pace, visiting a professional and a change of shoes to the more cushioned to get over it.

Please take care!
