What are the best trainers for shin splints?

I graduated couch to 5k back in 2018 and have since continued running and even done a few 10ks. But I keep getting shin splints which sets me back. I haven’t yet gone to get my gait analysed but plan to but just wondered which trainers others would recommend? Thanks! Emma

Maybe try a higher drop which takes the pressure off the lower leg. Some brooks are 12mm

I would also think about strengthening the tibialis muscle (toe raise exercise for example) as well as the other muscles that play a role in stabilising the tibia.
