⏱ Went out for a “quick” run. Not really quick, but it has morphed somehow over the last 6 months into an easy run. Even easier since starting YWA, as my legs don’t feel stiff afterwards anymore, my knees hold up all the way through and I just feel generally strong when running! (Still delightfully slow, mind you)
🏞 Mud was high, streams beside my track was full and I decided to chose Adriene’s BREATH Spotify playlist, which might have contributed to an even slower and chilled out start to the run.
🧟♀️ But I also was running from Zombies, so that balanced my energy levels a bit.
🌊But when the ocean track came on halfway (spoiler: Adriene put on her playlist a 45min Ocean track!) I initially thought it was the gorge mentioned on Zombies, Run and the intended relaxing sounds of waves rather took on a more ominous meaning, as runner 5 and 8 tried to evade a horde of zombies! 🧟🧟♂️🧟♀️
🔋By the time I “picked up some Zombie batteries” I realised the ocean was from the Spotify list, and at that time I was passing various melt-water streams on and beside my path, now sounding gigantically voluminous as helped with the ocean audio! 🤣🔊🌊
🏃🏾♀️A wonderful fun run in various worlds:
- the thrilling world of Zombies, Run
- the solid virtual world of RunLEJOG and Hadrian’s Wall
- And the mostest delightful world in my neighbourhood, with muddy paths, soggy trees and friendly dog walkers
Happy running, everyone!
