To begin the day I decided I was going to do a 30 minute morning run along the river. It was cold setting out but not too m much, and when I warmed up + the sun it was actually pretty warm!
Again I put Strava on mute (honestly so beneficial!), and just ran according to feelings. I think I did start out a bit quick eek so no negative splits for me; but on the up hand my splits were all similar! No km where I had to slow it down
Officially I ran 5.3km in 30 minutes, which I'm pleased with for today! I think its so tempting to me to want every run to be a pb, but obviously not realistic! I think I'll continue to hold off doing any speedy 5km runs for a couple of months and then see my progress in the future!

Great time 👍 the temptation is always there to go for a PB, but it’s nice sometimes just to go for a run and enjoy the fact that you can. My next one’s a gentle 5k 🏃♂️
