Bah, laid up....

One of the kids got sent home from school after being identified as having close contact with someone with C-19 at the school and in their words ‘highly likely to be carrying it’.

I now feel like poo, but no C-19 symptoms according to the test and track website so ineligible for a test.

Hopefully whatever it is will clear through in a few days, one of the kids wanted to race me up the garden earlier and I couldn’t do it!

This is now the longest break I’ve had from running since I started c25k back in May. (Still only 5 days) Just want to get back on it!

Sorry felt like a moan!

Do not apologise for the moan, there are not too many people at the moment not moaning about the world situation we are now in.

I just hope your child is Covid 19 free, if a child does get it, they usually are OK, the problem is if a older person gets it.

When you do start running again, take the runs slowly.

Sorry to hear that Reggit - don’t fret about the running; it will be there when you’re ready! Hope you all stay well.

Oh no! Well, the infection rates are on the rise so no surprise! What a shame. Perhaps you could do a lot of other exercise, hopefully this will blow over and you can run again soon.

Rest and you will know when you are able to run again,

Hopefully it’ll blow over in a week or so.

I think it’s helped me decide between the garmin and ju-ju’s 10k plan as I can’t seem to pause the garmin one!

Hopefully another week off and a couple of 3-5k’s to see how I’m feeling....

There’s absolutely no way I could do much more exercise over picking the tv remote up at the minute 😂

Oh no poor you, unfortunately I think we are all going to be encountering these days of isolation. Son-in-law was sent by army medic for test on Tuesday even though diagnosed with tonsillitis. Luckily he was tested and results arrived by Wednesday morning but that sinking feeling we all had at the thought of 2 weeks isolation- I really feel for you. Take care and moan away, we are all here to listen. Take care 🤗

Sounds like you needed a rest anyway. If you can with kids at home. Sometimes you run stronger after a bit of time off. Hope all is well soon.

Here’s hoping your kid doesn’t have it... personally I’d think this would be test worthy, hopefully when they fix the issues it will be again. The rules on this confuse me, where my wife works they’d all have to self isolate for two weeks if one got it, but I don’t know who would then look after the residents 🤷‍♂️

Stay safe and well.
