What a day, work constantly busy and hungry today so I ate some of the biscuits my boss brought to last weeks team meeting, then some matchmakers that had gone out of date, I didn’t like them so put in the other office for staff to eat, then some cheese then it was time to come home.

It’ll have to be a quick run as we have guests for dinner at 6.30 pmbut Willow was all keen and wanted to run down the hill.

We plodded up and I decided to repeat yesterdays run but with hills!!!

Up we went, 5 minute warm up and off I go, 15 seconds flat out and recover, 45 seconds 10k pace and recover, decided I’d never get back so turned and recover was a very slow run down hill, boy it’s steep.

And hot still 27 degrees.

Willow walked to the top and ran down, 1k in 7.33 mins, hapoy man.

Me? that was hard, too hot too steep but I loved it

Run happy or rest well

It’s very cloudy today

I am in awe of you running in this hot weather! Well done 👏🏼. I am basically slugging to and from work at the moment. At probably a slug’s pace too 😁. Your nibbles at work sound very nice and I hope you have an enjoyable dinner. 😊😊😊. Well done again!

Aww thank you, nothing heroic about it really just trying to get more fitness back, this morning I ran 3.49 k in exactly the same time I ran 5k 2years ago

It can be so frustrating, but it takes time and patience. I'm also trying to get my fitness back to where it was. I'm sure we will get there ☺️

It is frustrating but I’ve now run 5 days in a row. We had friends round yesterday evening and I felt a bit sad when my friend told me she sometimes goes up the stairs on her hands and knees because she can’t always lift her foot up to the next step, she’s almost exactly a year older than me so I need to keep running

Yes, it's so important to keep up with our strength and mobility. Honestly, running five days in a row is just incredible! And in this heat! I'm in awe of anyone who manages to run every day. I need breaks in between. Four runs per week is probably the most I can manage.
