Another day; another easy recovery run

Yes yesterday I ran. But today we felt like it too! We ran about 5k (could be 4 or 6 I'm honestly not sure), again with no phone and no stats. I believe in around 30 minutes? We took the dog too! Not fast at all, and just so that we can keep talking easily. My boyfriend is a lot fitter + stronger than I, but he always runs at my pace which is great.

I know the rule is not to run on consecutive days, but I'm definitely beginning to differentiate hard runs (long, fast, intervals, hills...) and easy runs (slow, short, not taxing). Yesterday's run caused no stress, and so I felt good enough to go for another relaxed jog today. I'll take a day or two off from today though ;)

How lovely that you can run together! Also, in talking to each other while running you will get a really good measure of an easy run. You're doing really well. You deserve a few days off before the next outing. Take the next few rest days to be proud of your progress 😊

yes I love running with people! I have to focus on being able to breath haha. Thank you!! Yes I'm definitely not running these next couple of days but just relaxing :) maybe I'll do my next long run sometime this weekend
