Oh we are hilarious

Today I dragged myself home from work with a big grin on m face, some invoices that have been giving me nightmares are paid at last, many emails and phone calls and months and I’ve done it!!! paid the blooming things

Lolled on the couch with my cup of tea, “are you sure it’s not too much Willow? this 4 times a week?”

“Not for me but it’s been a tough week for you”

“Don’t put this on me, you are the one with the sore knees”

“Do you think you need a nicotine lozenge?”

“No, I’m just tired, do you think we could find some flatter hills?”

and off we went, me quietly sucking a lozenge lol

So we walked to the top of the hill turning to look at the sea, and hey that’s the 10 minute warm up and across the top of the field it’s still up hill but a bit flatter than up the side

6x20 seconds up and the same down, I don’t know if Willow is faster or just runs the down bit slower but he got further and further away

So at the end I bellowed “that’s it!!” and we ran gently down the hill across the bottom round the park bit and a couple of turns round the car park to finish the 10 minute cool down

And off to the shop, now home and our treat is almost cooked...jerk chicken crazy potatoes and mediterranean vegetables 🌶 🌽

I’m only working half the weekend and off Sunday

Have a fab weekend all

😂😂! What an absolute joy to read your posts!! The short debate putting the onus on the other (none accepting it! 😂) and I love the ‘right....that’s it!’ 🤣...I say that to myself (often too! 😳)! 🤣🤣🤣!

Well done to you both. Have a wonderful dinner and enjoy the weekend! 😁❤️

The dinner was lovely thanks Fabulous and we’ve already discussed our strategy for Sunday’s run

Willow has slightly sore knees and my week has been long without a day off but Sunday I’m off and will be able to run in the morning

Fantastic!! It’s my run day tomorrow. Like Willow, my knees were slightly soar on the last run too 😯😂. But it’s run/walk/run, so it’s going to be fine!!

I hear the weather will be great this weekend too! ❤️

Let’s hope for the weather, is your plan 4 times a week? we are still getting used to the extra run a week

Fabulous450 profile image
Fabulous450Graduate10 in reply to SueAppleRun

No, mine is 3 times a week ☺️. So after the long run on Saturday’s, I get the next 2 days off each week. It feels like the right balance for me so far. 😁❤️

SueAppleRun profile image
SueAppleRunGraduate1060minGraduate in reply to Fabulous450

That sounds very good, we run Thursday which is our longest run of the week then we have a short run Friday and an easy run Sunday

Fabulous450 profile image
Fabulous450Graduate10 in reply to SueAppleRun

Sounds good too 😁. Tues/Thurs/Saturday for me! ❤️

SueAppleRun profile image
SueAppleRunGraduate1060minGraduate in reply to Fabulous450

So we both run Tuesday and Thursday then, that’s good we can watch each other’s progress

Fabulous450 profile image
Fabulous450Graduate10 in reply to SueAppleRun

Yes that’s great! Of course we can!

My plan is 15 weeks and Im just about to complete Week 2! So I have some way to go ☺️, but I’m happy with that as I took the furthest date away to keep me motivated as we go into the winter months! 👍🏽

All being well, I’ll do another plan/goal after that! ❤️

Perhaps Willow could try some yoga for sore knees?

SueAppleRun profile image
SueAppleRunGraduate1060minGraduate in reply to 59er

He twisted it and it’s almost healed, yoga is enjoyed in winter in this house I don’t know why

You guys are brilliant - real inspiration.

Although I did think the same as SlowLoris - your post should have had an parental guidance warning 🤣

Love that you negotiate and debate before you go out

Great result - work and run, but especially having dinner ready to come home to. I planned that yesterday (beef cheek on a very slow cook) but when I got home it had been on a S....L.....O............W cook. The oven knob was at the right angle but 180 degrees out, so to not at 160 but just a few degrees past off!! Yours sounds delicious

SueAppleRunGraduate1060minGraduate in reply to Sybilw

Thanks it was, i cooked it after the run and shop, we were still funny in the shop we only had 4 things on our shopping list but we filled two huge bags, we were hungry so kept thinking of things we’d like to eat

Yes - never shop hungry!! Expensive mistake. 😆

Hee hee hee that was a corker! Looking forwards to the next report. Hope you keep off the cigs - I gave up over 20 yrs ago and it was the best thing I ever did.

I won’t go back to smoking, it’s almost 8 months

Fionamags profile image
FionamagsGraduate10 in reply to SueAppleRun

That's brilliant - you've got it licked then. I found it so hard to give up (I was quite a heavy smoker) that it was a good thing to remember if temptation arose - I couldn't go through that again! 😆
