And that’s all we ran, enough for a saturday morning when it’s a day off, it’s a place Willow said he’s happy to run again and that we could always go round twice or more times, still not far from home if I want to run a bit further, I keep thinking I’ve slowed down but when I look back over the last year I was never fast and it’s about the same .

Yes all pavements which i like I have got fed up running round and round the park and last time a small dog leap at me barking even though i was a long way away from where it was with its owner and dropped to a walk

It’s ok if we vary it, trails across the downs are stunning but too tough to go every time
I live at the Winchester end of the South Downs and I couldn’t imagine running onto it! Just the thought makes my eyes water 😆.
We run very slowly and walk some but it’s lovely up there, we are on the coast

My usual route is straight out of the door, walk 5 mins then run 😁👍
Nice to find a new running route even if it is around an industrial area, not so busy as a park where wild dogs run hopeing to bite the first runner in site. you might want to make that a regular route for your runs.
We are thinking of it, Willow has been resistant to running round the streets so a quiet rout is a good introduction, it sure beats the park

Hope your calf is soon healed, take it easy when you do run, I had a niggle in a calf last year and after a few kilometres I could feel it again so kept to short runs and as soon as i felt it walked the rest and one day it didn’t hurt at all so i kept going and ended up at 10k which was very exciting

Felt like it this morning, I wasn’t sure why it was so hard but i was starting a cold and now feel lousy so i’m pleased we got out even if only for a little while
