Still keeping to the plan

Week 6 run 2 Garmin 10k at this rate I can’t see us ever getting to 10k but we are still following the plan

A nice overcast morning, Willow was wearing a long sleeved top, I was a little surprised but he said “You told me it was a running top so I thought I better wear it running “ so off we trotted, me in my usual black tee shirt and shorts and him in his Spider-man tee shirt

Pace run so half at an easy pace and half faster, the lady with the fluffy white dog clapped us on our second circuit and i wondered what she’d do when we speeded up

It was a good run, nice and steady, bit of chatting and bit of singing, ooo some of my songs were high, lucky no one was listening

Then go faster oh this feels good, and suddenly finished!

That felt fine, nothing spectacular nothing dire, we wandered back to the car then a quick trip to the bank to cash a cheque for work, I think it would be fine to turn up at your bank from a run, red of face and damp of body in a rural setting where everyone knows you, I’m not so sure in the middle of town but i’m going to work later so had to string things together or I wouldn’t get time for a bit of a relax before work

Have a good day all and be thankful for good legs to carry you on your runs

The main thing is that you enjoy your running, don't worry about 10K, you will eventually get to 10K no matter how long it takes. 😊 🏃🏾

When we look back we see fairly steady progress and are surprised because every run we come back saying that’s slow, the hill repeats are only once a week but i think over time they will strengthen our legs even more

Great running both of you. If you're not happy as such with the garmin plan what about trying ju-ju plan on here. Just a thought. Happy running 😊

We are finding 4times a week tough to fit in round work but are progressing slowly

I know we are and luckily we aren’t running now until Thursday because one night staff didn’t turn up so guess who is staying up all night after working an eight and a half hour shift, i just hope i can squeeze in a lot of my own work because tomorrow I’m sleeping, this is my second all night this week so my body clock doesn’t know what hit it

Week 6 is go..go..gooooo!

How many weeks is the plan??

Spider man top is the future. In Willow I trust 😁

15 weeks to the plan I thought it was supposed to end in September but it’s November 10k is perfectly doable by then 😀i’m smiling but don’t know why because disaster struck and after a whole shift at work i’m working the night too aren’t I the lucky one?

Well done! Keep up the good work.

I think turning up anywhere red faced in running/workout gear is okay - at least it proves you’re wearing for its intended purpose 👍

Sounds like you both had a great run, and I love the idea of a spiderman top 😊

A great run W&S. I guess you should trust the plan and Mr Garmin. It’s very Different to juju’s plan where you just increase your long run each week.

Great stuff WillowandSola!! 🤩🤩 Ah it sounds like a wonderful run with singing and chatting. I think when you burst into song, it just shows how much you’re loving it. I agree though, I’m one of those that better not take anyone else in the vicinity by surprise with the vocals...😲😂😂!!

You’ll get to that 10k for sure!! Enjoy!! 🤗❤️
