I have begun increasing my duration by 5 minutes per run, using Runkeepers ‘free runs’ set up with custom intervals increasing by 2.5 min each run. (thanks to a tip from @IannodaTruffe) . This works very well and seems quite doable. Today: 45 min run, excluding warmup/cooldown. I’m still ultra slow but runkeeper is telling me I am very slowly getting faster.
Today, running through rain and wind, knowing I’ll be putting this in as a RunLeJog4 run, I could just imagine being in Cornwall with only the salty smell of the sea missing.
Back here, I have 2 weeks still on running ‘just’ runs (I’m doing the 12 week NHS fitness programme) and then I’m on to the stepping stones podcasts!
Upwards and onwards!

Good run for you today CBDB, you are correct on only timing the run and not the warm up walk or cool down at the end, I like that phrase of yours, "slowly getting faster" that could be the running slogan for many on the running forums, your next run will be even quicker 😊🏃🏾👍
