C25K consolidation

So I graduated on Saturday with another 31 C25kers on the same run ๐Ÿ˜ธ

I ran with my eldest kitten who is really proud of himself and I am too. ๐Ÿ†

The same is not a quick runner but he is improving. I'm still running with him to help him maintain the habit of going out regularly.

He managed 5k non stop in 42 minutes and so consolidation is +10% run time each week.

So far we have done 2x 33minute sessions covering just over 4k

Today was supposed to be a rest day but my youngest kitten had a day off school so I asked him if he wanted to join me on a trial interval run...

Talk about chalk and cheese. The Speedy One had me gasping for air only 2.1/2 minutes into the run!

I struggled but take consolation from his news that he did his fastest mile.

I need to build more fitness before I do that again! First step would be an early night but eldest kitten needs collecting from a late night event. ๐ŸŒƒ

10 k still looks a long way from here! ๐Ÿ˜ธ

Thanks AIMorr !

My Graduate badge shows when posting on the C25k group.

I think I need to do a 10k+ run to get a Graduate 10 badge on the B10K group.

Probably next year! ๐Ÿ˜ธ

No rush for 10k Katnap. Just do what TailChaser did and consolidate, and just enjoy running because you can.

Nice running Katnap! Sounds like youโ€™re getting plenty of โ€˜mixing it upโ€™ practise, so no threat of you getting bored!

Keep on consolidating and very gradually build to 10k eventually if you want to. ju-juโ€™s Magic 10 plan is great for that, but thereโ€™s no rush so enjoy running for fun for now! Arenโ€™t we lucky to have running in our lives? ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ˜€

Your brood sound enthusiastic, and thatโ€™ll keep you motivated! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Yep don't rush and congratulations

Wow! your youngest sounds very speedy Kat!

Sounds like your perfect interval partner ๐Ÿ˜‰ just chase him round a field once a week ๐Ÿ˜ youโ€™ll end up like superman!

I think what youโ€™ve done with your eldest boy is fantastic, even though it may take a bit longer to get where you want to be with running it is 100% worth it ๐Ÿ’ฏ ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ™Œ
