60 minutes run today ..... Ouch!

I haven't been on here for a while. I kind of felt I was floating around between the cto5k forum and this one,so been a bit reluctant on the posting front . Not even done any likes or responses - will try harder! Have got to the point of starting a post but then abandoned it . Does this happen to anyone else or is it just me (probably🙂 )

Have been plugging away on the magic plan and yes I did the hour today - just .... on around 58 minutes and on the home straight just scuffed my foot on the pavement and over I went, sprawled on the path. ,.ouch my left wrist took most of my weight plus grazed both my knees .. and few little cuts on hands 😕 so annoyed with myself (this is my second tumble since couch25k) jumped up and finished my run and reached 8.15k on the hour. Not really so happy about it as I should be on my hobble home, the fall was not part of my plan!

Now I shall have a few weeks running with no plan! Aim is to get to 10 k eventually but am looking forward to cooler running for that milestone.

So at least two achievements for me today a post on here and my 60 minute slightly interrupted run!

Putting my feet up and catching up on here is my plan for today. 😁

Can I? Great thanks! No not bad just a sprained wrist, knees bit sore. It could have been worse as hubby said and he bathed my grazed knees bless him! Just walked my dog Brad in the woods and ended up going up the lighthouse hill - keep the legs going🙂. Thanks Buddy.

I hope you are not hurting too much after your tumble, how annoying so close to the end of your run. Happy running 🤗
