This Saturday is my local parkrun 1st birthday. So I thought I'd go today. Its the first time I've ran it since 14th of March. Its so strange running it on your own but I enjoyed it.
Hardly any people about as it was pouring with rain. All the birds didn't seem to mind though.
Happy 1st birthday Drumpellier parkrun

Did you think back over the year as you ran Buddy and think about how you are developing? A lovely time too without the need to push x
Thanks GTFC. I wasn't at the very first one but when I found out there was one local to me I ordered my parkrun wristband and completed it on the 24th August 2019.
This time last year I didnt think I could run any more than 5k. Well I proved myself wrong and I'm glad I did π
Great anniversary run with the ducks, you are laying down fantastic times. Woken by the sound of rain pouring but offered to do a pram push in the rain - yay, it stoppedπ happy running π€
Good run for you today Buddy34, I WAS going to be there this Saturday but alas like everything else it is cancelled, by the way, this morning I ran 10 miles in the rain β and now have 10 miles next to my username. π ππΎ π
Thanks for the medals Fionamags, I will put them around my neckπ
Great time Buddy. It must have been nice having the route to yourself and your feet allowed to find their own pace - it paid off! ππ·I quite like running in the rain, but there's no chance of that just now down here, it's baking...... π (I am not complaining btw - currently sitting in the sunshine in the garden with a wee beerπΊ π).
I just noticed that you posted this yesterday. Good grief it was lashing yesterday!!!! That country park sounds a great place to run. What a great time you got too. Happy birthday Drumpellier!!!
