So pleased with my time, especially as I was pushing the buggy *and* it included a total stop to swap the grandchildren over, halfway round, as well as a few walking stretches on the inclines of the very last lap. Hope everyone else's Parkrun went as well as mine did! (With the exception of teething problems with my new - but secondhand - Garmin Forerunner 110, don't know if it's my fault or whether there's a problem with it... but time will tell.)
Suddenly realised I need to drive later, so had to stop drinking the bubbles - I wouldn't be over the limit, but was beginning to feel a bit fuzzy (I don't have a head for wine!). Will pour myself a fresh glass later.
Grandsprocket is now awake and we are playing on the floor. π
Many happy returns Maddee. We're having a birthday weekend here too for my partner's 50th. The mood is very upbeat and enjoyable. Hope you're having an excellent day too. What better start than to do something you love with people you love. Sounds like everything's coming together very well
Not today. I gave blood on Wednesday. The regulars on here warned me about running today, as did my husband. Of course, I knew best - until I reached 2k and came over lightheaded. Walked the majority of what was left! My mind was strong but my body would not oblige. Don't feel too bad about it though - 5k is 5k whether you walk it or run it!
I'm glad you had a great Parkrun - I did my first to celebrate your birthday as promised!! {Now I just have the challenge of actually being able to run it all!}
Happy Birthday for yesterday! Sounds like a lovely run and lunch. Great time too, especially with buggy and little ones to look after! I am doing a post later.....I will tag you in it!
